Spartan Agency is a family-owned property management company in downtown Sumner, serving Pierce County since 1965. Their website at spartanagency.com was a Hibu-hosted template: the business could not move or extend it, the 29 rental listings were flat pages with no structured data or on/off-market workflow, six retired listings were still indexed by Google, and 18 hard-earned customer reviews were locked inside a vendor widget.

We rebuilt the site as a client-owned WordPress install on GoDaddy Managed WordPress with a custom Traxx IT theme in Spartan's gold, charcoal and bone palette. The centrepiece is our Properties plugin, a rental listings engine with structured fields (rent, deposit, beds and baths, square footage, pets, utilities, lease terms), one-click on/off-market status, featured listings for the homepage showcase, public PDF flyers, CSV import and a read-only REST feed. Interactive Leaflet and OpenStreetMap maps pin every on-market listing and highlight the service area with no per-view API billing.

The build covers 13 firm-scope pages plus all 29 listing pages, an Announcements module with a Receptionist role, the 18 verified reviews and six owner responses migrated with their original dates, a complete 301 redirect map for 44 legacy Hibu URLs, Rank Math with Local Business structured data, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility audited across every template. The Hibu site stayed live for the entire build, and cutover is a single DNS change at the registrar with a 30-day rollback window.
